Tarbiyah Approach

The tarbiyah process, including spiritual, intellectual, moral, social, and physical aspects, aims to put Muslim children on the path of constant self-purification, self-correction, and self-development.

The Tarbiyah International curriculum taught at The Intellectus Academy currently covers eight core subjects:

Mathematics

Mathematics provides an effective way of building mental discipline and encourages logical reasoning and mental rigor.

Science

Science encompasses the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.

English

English is the language of international communication, the media and the internet. Whether it is for professional or personal reasons, understanding the importance of English help students to achieve their goals.

Computer

Computer in education completely enhances students' mathematical knowledge, critical thinking, and help them with problem-solving.

Urdu

Being our national language, learning urdu is as vital as any other subject to understand the world around us.

Fehm ul Qur’an

The idea that runs through teaching Qur’nic Grammar is the urgency of understanding the message of Allah ﷻ and repairing the broken relationship between Qur’an and humanity through understsnding & logic.

Social Studies

Knowing about the concepts of history, government, economics, civics,sociology, geography, and anthropology help students learn about social relationships and the functioning of society.

Effective Muslims

At The Intellectus Academy, Effective Muslims is a series of workshops designed to improve students’ character for success in this world and the next.

Builders

Builders is an activity-based program designed to build students’ self-reliance by learning how to make things by themselves.

Artists

Artists is an activity-based program whose purpose is for students to learn from and be inspired by the creations of al-Musawwir (the Artist).

Readers

The Intellectus Academy encourages reading across the curriculum from an early age in order to help students grow intellectually.

Self Expression

A variety of events and competitions at The Intellectus Academy help students improve their self-confidence and their relationships with peers and family.
